A flaw was found in moodle where global search results could include author information on some activities where a user may not otherwise have access to it.

The version of podman as released for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras via RHSA-2022:2190 advisory included an incorrect version of podman missing the fix for CVE-2020-14370, which was previously fixed via RHSA-2020:5056. This issue could possibly allow an attacker to gain access to sensitive information stored in environment variables.

A vulnerability was found in the pfkey_register function in net/key/af_key.c in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows a local, unprivileged user to gain access to kernel memory, leading to a system crash or a leak of internal kernel information.

A privilege escalation flaw was found in Podman. This flaw allows an attacker to publish a malicious image to a public registry. Once this image is downloaded by a potential victim, the vulnerability is triggered after a user runs the 'podman top' command. This action gives the attacker access to the host filesystem, leading to information disclosure or denial of service.

A flaw was found in PackageKit in the way some of the methods exposed by the Transaction interface examines files. This issue allows a local user to measure the time the methods take to execute and know whether a file owned by root or other users exists.

There is a flaw in convert2rhel. When the --activationkey option is used with convert2rhel, the activation key is subsequently passed to subscription-manager via the command line, which could allow unauthorized users locally on the machine to view the activation key via the process command line via e.g. htop or ps. The specific impact varies upon the subscription, but generally this would allow an attacker to register systems purchased by the victim until discovered; a form of fraud. This could occur regardless of how the activation key is supplied to convert2rhel because it involves how convert2rhel provides it to subscription-manager.

A vulnerability was found in kvm_s390_guest_sida_op in the arch/s390/kvm/kvm-s390.c function in KVM for s390 in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows a local attacker with a normal user privilege to obtain unauthorized memory write access. This flaw affects Linux kernel versions prior to 5.17-rc4.

A flaw was found in the VirGL virtual OpenGL renderer (virglrenderer). The virgl did not properly initialize memory when allocating a host-backed memory resource. A malicious guest could use this flaw to mmap from the guest kernel and read this uninitialized memory from the host, possibly leading to information disclosure.

All versions of Samba prior to 4.15.5 are vulnerable to a malicious client using a server symlink to determine if a file or directory exists in an area of the server file system not exported under the share definition. SMB1 with unix extensions has to be enabled in order for this attack to succeed.

A flaw was found in s390 eBPF JIT in bpf_jit_insn in arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, a local attacker with special user privilege can circumvent the verifier and may lead to a confidentiality problem.

An information exposure flaw in openstack-tripleo-heat-templates allows an external user to discover the internal IP or hostname. An attacker could exploit this by checking the www_authenticate_uri parameter (which is visible to all end users) in configuration files. This would give sensitive information which may aid in additional system exploitation. This flaw affects openstack-tripleo-heat-templates versions prior to 11.6.1.

It was found that 3scale's APIdocs does not validate the access token, in the case of invalid token, it uses session auth instead. This conceivably bypasses access controls and permits unauthorized information disclosure.

A flaw in netfilter could allow a network-connected attacker to infer openvpn connection endpoint information for further use in traditional network attacks.

A flaw was found in the Linux kernels memory deduplication mechanism. Previous work has shown that memory deduplication can be attacked via a local exploitation mechanism. The same technique can be used if an attacker can upload page sized files and detect the change in access time from a networked service to determine if the page has been merged.

A flaw was found in Red Hat JBoss Core Services HTTP Server in all versions, where it does not properly normalize the path component of a request URL contains dot-dot-semicolon(s). This flaw could allow an attacker to access unauthorized information or possibly conduct further attacks. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity.

A flaw was found in postgresql. A purpose-crafted query can read arbitrary bytes of server memory. In the default configuration, any authenticated database user can complete this attack at will. The attack does not require the ability to create objects. If server settings include max_worker_processes=0, the known versions of this attack are infeasible. However, undiscovered variants of the attack may be independent of that setting.

A flaw was found in wildfly-core in all versions. If a vault expression is in the form of a single attribute that contains multiple expressions, a user who was granted access to the management interface can potentially access a vault expression they should not be able to access and possibly retrieve the item which was stored in the vault. An information disclosure flaw was found in Buildah, when building containers using chroot isolation. Running processes in container builds (e.g. Dockerfile RUN commands) can access environment variables from parent and grandparent processes. When run in a container in a CI/CD environment, environment variables may include sensitive information that was shared with the container in order to be used only by Buildah itself (e.g. container registry credentials).

A flaw was found in Foreman project. A credential leak was identified which will expose Azure Compute Profile password through JSON of the API output. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.

A flaw was found in Wildfly where insufficient RBAC restrictions may lead to expose metrics data. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to the confidentiality.

A flaw was found in Red Hat AMQ Broker in a way that a XEE attack can be done via Broker's configuration files, leading to denial of service and information disclosure.

It was observed that while login into Business-central console, HTTP request discloses sensitive information like username and password when intercepted using some tool like burp suite etc.
